The Essence Festival: The 2017 Essence Festival will take place June 29 through July 2 in New Orleans. The event celebrates the best of African-American arts, music and culture and features live entertainment. Other activities include educational breakout sessions and networking events.
Exhibitor Info: The exhibitor registration deadline has passed, but exhibitor kits are available online for vendors who are already registered. Booth fees must be paid 15 days before the festival begins. Consult with Essence Festival officials for move-in and move-out procedures.
Accommodations: The Essence Festival has partnered with hotels in the New Orleans area to get reduced rates for attendees. Room availability is limited, so book now to ensure a reservation.
Texas Restaurant Association Marketplace: The Texas Restaurant Association will host its annual convention July 9-10 in Dallas. The event provides chefs, restaurant owners and others in the food service industry a chance to take part in hands-on educational tutorials.
Exhibitor Info: Register by June 16 to receive the conference discount. Move-in days are slated for July 7-8 and move-out dates are set for July 10-11. Cosmoprof North America: The annual Cosmoprof North America conference is scheduled for July 9-11 in Las Vegas. Professional beauticians, retailers and suppliers, and others in the beauty and beauty supply industry are invited to attend.
Exhibitor Info: If you’re planning to exhibit at Cosmoprof, you must register before June 14. Move-in dates are scheduled for July 5-8, while move-out dates are July 11-12. For additional information, consult the trade show’s vendor checklist.
Accommodations: The event has secured discounted hotel and travel rates. Make reservations prior to June 5 to receive guaranteed pricing.
School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference: School nutritionists, allied organizations involved with the School Nutrition Association, and industrial food suppliers are planning for the School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference. The conference takes place this year July 9-12 in Atlanta.
Exhibitor Info: Register before June 12 to get the discounted vendor rate. Vendors may install their booths July 7-9, but all installation must be complete by 9 p.m. on July 9. Doors for the first day of the seminar open at 10 a.m. on July 10. The move-out process begins immediately following the conclusion of the event on July 12. Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo: The Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo will be held July 12-13 in Honolulu, Hawaii, for those in the hospitality and foodservices industries. The convention allows merchants an opportunity to showcase new products to customers, and will allow visitors a chance to meet others in the field.
Exhibitor Info: Exhibitors may set up their booths and other marketing materials July 11-12. All marketing displays must ready for the show by 9:30 a.m. on July 12. Move-out begins July 13 and ends at 10 a.m. July 14. For additional information, call 888-376-1516 or 808-261-3400.
Accommodations: Admission is free, but pre-registration is required. The Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo doesn’t offer discounted rates for hotels or travel.
ICAST/IFTD 2017: Fishing enthusiasts, and merchants and retailers who offer fishing-related merchandise are planning for ICAST 2017, scheduled this year from July 11-14 in Orlando, Florida. ICAST is the largest trade show in the industry, and those who attend will get a glimpse at new products, attire, technology, accessories and other products.
Exhibitor Info: To exhibit, visit the event website to complete and submit all enrollment forms. You must be registered with the American Sportfishing Association to be a vendor at ICAST. NACUFS 2017: The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) will host its annual conference July 12-15 in Nashville, Tennessee. NACUFS offers educational and training seminars, as well as abundant networking opportunities.
Exhibitor Info: Interested vendors should register by June 23 to receive the registration discount. NACUFS staff will begin accepting trade show shipments on July 11 at 1 p.m. Move-in period is from July 12-13. ASI Chicago: Advertising professionals looking to increase their knowledge should make plans to attend the ASI Show Chicago, scheduled for July 12-13. Attendees will have networking opportunities and a chance to meet with advertising product suppliers and distributors.

Summer NAMM: Recording artists, producers and others in the music and entertainment industry are making plans to attend Summer NAMM, scheduled for July 13-15 in Nashville, Tennessee. Attendance at Summer NAMM is restricted to owners, suppliers, employees, musicians and artists who are in the NAMM membership network.

Cultivate 2017: Cultivate 2017 offers educational seminars and a chance to visit and speak with horticulture professionals. Visitors will also be presented with the latest products and designs related to the horticulture and plant growing industry. The event will be held July 15-18 in Columbus, Ohio.

Texas High School Coaches Association Convention: Coaches and athletic directors are planning for the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Convention, slated for July 23-26 in Houston. Those who attend can participate in rules meetings and training sessions related to health and safety procedures.

BbWorld 2017: BbWorld 2017 will be July 25-27 in New Orleans. Educators, education technology professionals, developers and administrators who attend can take part in breakout sessions, networking events and learning expos.

IFT2017: The Institute of Food Technologists will host the annual IFT expo June 25-28 in Las Vegas.
The symposium caters to food scientists, researchers and others involved in food sciences. The agenda features keynote speeches from some of the industry’s leaders, hands-on educational sessions and more.
