Using freight and logistics terminology

For example, let’s assume you work for a retailer that’s about to launch a new product that will be shipped to multiple locations nationwide. Here’s the language your transportation provider will use when discussing the services you may need:
- Time-critical shipping options ensure LTL shipments are delivered to each store in time for the launch
- Accessorial charges may occur if you require final-mile services such as inside delivery and dunnage removal to have product displays set up in-store
- If you’re shipping a temperature-sensitive product, opting for solutions like freeze protection can help keep the goods safe during transit
